ANETXA S.A. (National Coordinator of Local Government Organizations)
The “Development Association of Chalkidiki SA (LAG)” with the distinct title “ANETXA SA” is a public body that operates based on the provisions for public limited companies (Law 4548/18 “On Public Limited Companies”), the provisions of the Municipal and Community Code (as amended and in force), as well as the provisions of Law 4674/21 “Strategic Development Perspective of Local Governments”. It was founded in June 1992 and its headquarters are located in Polygyros, Chalkidiki.
ANETXA, as a product of a joint agreement of most of the forces in the region (public and private sector), is the most representative organization of the productive, and not only, organizations of Chalkidiki, a fact that is also reflected in the composition of its share capital.

Local Action Group “Białowieska Forest” (Local Action Group Coordinator)
The implementation area of the Community-Led Local Development Strategy is located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship and includes ten rural communities, one urban-rural and one city.
The process of establishing the LAG began during the implementation period of the project “Land of the bison – sustainable development of rural areas in the Białowieża Forest region based on natural and cultural values” under Scheme I of the Pilot LEADER + Programme, the aim of which was to create the LAG as a local public-private partnership based on a bottom-up initiative of the local communities of the Białowieża Primeval Forest region and to conduct, on the initiative of the local communities, the analysis of the development opportunities of rural areas and the development of an Integrated Strategy for the Rural Development of the Białowieża Primeval Forest Region – Central Section of Bison Land.
During the various stages of the process of establishing the LAG “Puszcza Białowieska”, meetings were held with individuals, representatives of the private, social and public sectors, with the process being officially completed at the meeting of February 20, 2006, the proceedings of which were attended by the 42 founding members of the association.
