An interesting event was held by the Stanos Women's Cooperative in the village square, in the context of hosting foreign tourist agents in the Municipality of Aristotle. It is part of the tourist promotion program of the Municipality of Aristotle that includes all the Communities.
The members of the Cooperative welcomed Italian tourist agents and journalists and introduced them to the secrets of the local cuisine. The buffet that was set up was rich with spoon sweets, jams and liqueurs.
They presented the method of preparing trahanas, fried fermented cheese pies and set a table for everyone with local sausages, omelettes, local cheese, fermented village bread and freshly cut salads from the village’s gardens. The tsipouro and wine were of course duly honored.
Afterwards, the whole group strolled through the alleys, among the beautiful courtyards, churches, and traditional houses. In this way, they showcased authentic Greece to our neighboring country.
