A new over-commitment of 31 million euros was achieved following targeted actions by the Deputy Minister of Rural Development & Food Simos Kedikoglou, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food Christiana Kalogirou and the Secretary General of European Funds and Infrastructure Dimitris Papagiannidis, within the framework of CLLD/LEADER Fisheries (Priority 4 of the EPALT) for calls for private projects.
The 2nd over-commitment will be distributed to nine Local Action Groups (LAGs) based on the rational management of the available resources, fully covering their requests.
Specifically, the allocations of funds are as follows:
1. Development Organization of Central Greece
2. Evia Development Company S.A.
3. Dimosineteristiki Evros SA
4. Chios Local Development Company AAE OTA
5. Organization for the Development of Crete S.A.
6. LAG Kavala Development Agency
7. Cyclades Development Company S.A.
8. Development Association of Halkidiki SA (ANETXA SA)
9. Cooperation Network of Municipalities of Attica Prefecture
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Tourism, Mr. Kedikoglou, expressed his satisfaction with the result of his continuous contacts with public organizations for the upgrading of local communities.
