Results of the “Cult In Tour” School Competition

The School Competition organized by the Development Association of Chalkidiki S.A has been completed with the notification of the results to the participating High Schools of the Municipality of Aristotle, following the approval of the Secondary Education Directorate of Chalkidiki with RN 769/11-11-2023 and the invitation to participate to the High Schools of the Municipality of Aristotle from 24-11-2022, within the framework of the Transnational Cooperation Plan with title “Cult in Tour” which is being implemented in Greece and Poland (code O.P.S.A.A. 0030380479, 19.3, TAPToK/LEADER, RDP 2014-2020).

The School Competition was organized during the months of December 2022-January 2023 and was attended by the Arnea High School (2 teams), the Megali Panagia High School (1 team) and the Paleochori High School (1 team). The submitted proposals of the participating teams included ideas for promoting and highlighting cultural elements of their region to enrich the tourist offer, with the aim of highlighting with these ideas the elements of cultural, environmental and historical interest and the cultural activities-events that, overall and individually, constitute points of local excellence.

The Evaluation Committee appointed under the RN 112/1-2-2023 Minutes of the NDPA, according to the criteria set out in the invitation to participate dated 24-11-2022, announces the following ranking:

1. 1st Prize: Paleochori High School
2. 2nd Prize: Arnea High School
3. 3rd Prize: Megali aPanagia High School

The awards will be given during the corresponding awards ceremony, which will also be organized within the framework of the Transnational Cooperation Plan (TCP) “Cult in Tour”, and specifically during the special event in June 2023.
